Once again, the Festival is an opportunity to discover the most talented international pianists our county. Young pianists will be honored such as the Canadian Jan Lisiecki, the Korean Kim Sunwook or the Russian prodigy, Daniil Trifonov. The audience will enjoy their recitals. The great pianists will also be involved: the Russian pianist Boris Berezovsky will open the concert in the amazing « Parc du Château de Florans ». There will be more than 80 concerts in charming and pleasant localities: Château de Florans’ garden but also Gordes, Aix-en-Provence, Saint-Martin-de-Crau, Mimet, Lambesc,  Cucuron’s church and the cloister of Silvacane’s abbey .

Piano, harpsichord, organ and symphonic orchestras… this year, the festival widens its scope to jazz with the exceptional venue of Yaron Herman, the Israeli jazzman. There will also be the Big Phat Band: this big band revisits with enthusiasm American standards under the guidance of Gordon Goodwin. René Martin, artistic director of the festival, also wants to bring more families to awaken young audience. Thus, the festival has developed 6 pm concerts where artists can play and talk about their works. Ticket prices will be set at € 10 with the possibility for each ticket to freely bring a child under 12 years old.

Finally, the 34th edition of the festival will once again be the major cultural event of this summer in Provence. We can be sure everyone will be delighted by the plethora of concerts and discover more or less known artists, however all highly talented.
